Quality Controller - Remote

Overview

The Quality Controller is accountable for all laboratory-related tasks, ensuring the precision, accuracy, reliability, and repeatability of test results while maintaining the ISO 9001 quality management system.

In Short

• Conduct process investigations and root cause analysis of quality issues.
• Test and verify products against established specifications.
• Manage internal customer complaints and communication of test results.
• Ensure calibration and verification of measuring equipment.
• Keep records of all test results and facilitate completion of non-conformances.
• Conduct internal audits and train team leaders/operators on SOPs.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance business quality standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and provide updates on quality-related issues.
• Maintain safety equipment and adhere to company safety policies.
• Assist with the maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality System.

Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Relevant qualification in Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, or Quality-related fields.
• 2-3 years experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives is an advantage.
