Overview

The Principal Data Architect at Availity will collaborate with business and technology groups to design and supervise the development of enterprise data solutions, focusing on healthcare data to enable analytic and data science use cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in information architecture and data solution design.
• Strong domain expertise in healthcare business data.
• Expertise in cloud-based data technologies (e.g., AWS).
• 5+ years of experience with data engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, SQL).
• Strong analytical skills and communication abilities.
• Experience in enterprise data architecture design.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling for data lakes and warehouses.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards.
• Ability to develop data strategies collaboratively.
