Principal Architect - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, capable Senior Principal Architect who has led architecture initiatives in or around e-commerce or retail. They will be strategically focused with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ideally formally trained in either TOGAF or Zachman frameworks.

In Short

• Lead architecture initiatives in e-commerce or retail.
• Work with business, engineering, product, and architecture teams.
• Ensure alignment of ESW strategy with industry best practices.
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Enterprise or Solution Architect.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture, micro-services, and data-driven architectures.
• Experience with public cloud services, ideally Azure.
• Collaborate in an agile environment.
• Mentor technology and product teams.
• Create and maintain conceptual data models.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

• TOGAF or Zachman Certified.
• Experience with Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Architectural experience with Azure or AWS services.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Deep problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of risk in designs.
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
• Experience managing legacy migration programs.
