Team Lead Legal Compliance - Remote

Overview

As a Team Lead Legal Compliance, you will ensure that the company adheres to laws, regulations, and standards across all aspects of compliance, contributing significantly to the AUTO1 Group Legal Department.

In Short

• Lead the Compliance Department with a focus on data protection, anti-corruption, AML, capital market compliance, and ESG reporting.
• Advise senior stakeholders and the board on compliance issues and prepare compliance reports for the supervisory board and audit committee.
• Implement and develop compliance policies and standards, including the establishment of the AUTO1 Compliance Management System.
• Conduct compliance risk analyses for management.
• Serve as the point of contact for all compliance-related questions in daily operations.
• Lead the annual sustainability reporting and implement CSRD requirements.
• Support the implementation of new projects and develop creative solutions for operational processes.

Requirements

• Completed business or law degree (ideally LL.M. / Master's) or comparable qualification with a compliance focus.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in compliance, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with audit/due diligence processes and reporting to senior management/supervisory board.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and structured with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
• High communication and social competence, entrepreneurial thinking, and a hands-on mentality.
• Fluent in English and ideally German, both written and spoken.
