In Short

• Enhance developer productivity by identifying and abstracting common functionalities
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, design, develop, and implement best practices for platform engineering
• Ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and secure
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks that our systems may encounter
• Maintain an unwavering focus on securing sensitive data, and ensure the reliability and performance of the platform
• Monitor, tune, and improve application performance
• Take ownership of projects from inception to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
• Develop new services and enhance our existing system to accommodate new products
• Improve platform resilience and efficiency, especially in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and ideally Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Ability to collaboratively drive a project from design to operation independently
• People skills to solicit org-wide feedback from other engineers to identify the best solutions for all
• Proven skills in building secure, reliable platforms and complex modern web applications
• A firm belief in developing a top-tier platform that enables engineers to deploy swiftly and with assurance
• A relentless focus on securing sensitive data, ensuring platform reliability and performance
• A passion for your craft and value quality in code, communication, and genuine concern for your colleagues.
