Overview

As a Staff Platform Engineer at Shakepay, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping developer experience, architecture, and automation across Shakepay’s engineering teams.

• Architect and lead large-scale technical initiatives to optimise Shakepay’s monolith.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in a Developer Experience, Platform, or DevOps role.
• Proven ability to design and implement developer tooling and automation frameworks.
• Deep architectural knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals across the stack.
• Experience with incident management and on-call rotations.
• Passion for removing friction in the development process.
