Bilingual Patient Access Specialist (English/Spanish) - Remote

Overview

The purpose of this position is to help patients get access to the medications and therapies that they need.

In Short

• Work directly with healthcare providers and insurance plans/payers.
• Gather information about patient’s insurance and coverage for pharmaceutical products.
• Support healthcare providers with coding, billing, and reimbursement issues.
• Conduct benefit investigations by contacting payers.
• Document prior authorization processes and claims appeals.
• Act as a liaison for field representatives, healthcare providers, and patients.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Identify coverage restrictions and expedite patient access.
• Report reimbursement trends or delays to management.
• Receive a language skills differential for bilingual capabilities.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate complex reimbursement barriers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in documentation and case management.
