Overview

The Systems Administrator will play a lead role in managing and supporting AssistRX’s Microsoft ecosystem (including Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Azure AD, Intune) and the Atlassian JIRA platform used for project tracking, change management, and agile workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, platform optimization, automation, troubleshooting, and supporting end-user needs across these environments. A strong emphasis is placed on collaboration, documentation, and process improvement aligned with ITIL practices.

In Short

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Manage JIRA Software and Service Management platforms.
  • Monitor the performance and health of Microsoft 365 and JIRA environments.
  • Work closely with Service Desk leadership for support ticket management.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in Microsoft security and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for platform configurations.
  • Perform user and license management for Microsoft and Atlassian platforms.
  • Develop scripts or leverage automation tools for administrative tasks.
  • Participate in audits and compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of previous experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate preferred.
  • Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Confluence and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Familiarity with IAM and endpoint management tools.
