Reservation Agent - Remote

Overview

The Reservation Agent provides timely and accurate service to potential guests making reservation inquiries for various Limelight hotels and The Little Nell Hotel. This role involves ensuring guest inquiries and sales leads are addressed appropriately.

In Short

• Answer inbound guest calls providing expert advice and exemplary guest service.
• Assist in completing daily functions of the reservations office based on workload.
• Qualify callers regarding their lodging desires and close sales effectively.
• Email confirmations and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Maximize occupancy by monitoring availability and placing new reservations.
• Achieve and maintain Forbes 5 Star; 5 Diamond reservation standards.
• Attend required meetings and complete tasks delegated by supervisors.
• Comply with all policies and procedures for the Reservation Department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; two-year college degree preferred.
• Ability to create an environment of trust and remain calm under stress.
• Competent with computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
• Phone sales experience is a plus.
• Previous hotel reservation experience preferred.
