Reservation Agent - Remote

Overview

The Reservation Agent provides timely and accurate service to potential guests making reservation inquiries for various Limelight hotels and The Little Nell Hotel. This role is critical in ensuring guest inquiries and sales leads are handled appropriately.

In Short

• Answer inbound guest calls with expert advice and exemplary service.
• Assist in daily functions of the reservation office.
• Qualify callers regarding their lodging desires.
• Close sales and enhance guest experience.
• Email confirmations and respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Maximize occupancy by monitoring availability.
• Achieve Forbes Five-Star and Five-Diamond reservation standards.
• Complete tasks delegated by supervisors.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous hotel reservation experience preferred.
• Two-year college degree preferred.
• Ability to create an environment of trust.
• Multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work professionally with all levels of people.
• Familiar with reservation department policies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Willingness to accept and apply feedback.
• Ability to travel to various hotel property locations for training.
