Overview

The Reservation Agent provides timely and accurate service to potential guests making reservation inquiries for various Limelight hotels and The Little Nell Hotel. This role ensures guest inquiries and sales leads are handled appropriately, contributing to a high-quality guest experience.

In Short

  • Answer inbound guest calls providing expert advice and exemplary guest service.
  • Assist in completing daily functions of the reservation office based on workload.
  • Qualify callers by asking questions regarding their lodging desires.
  • Close sales by asking for bookings at the appropriate moment.
  • Email confirmations and information regarding reservations made.
  • Maximize occupancy by monitoring availability and placing new reservations.
  • Maintain Forbes Five-Star; Five-Diamond reservation standards.
  • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Complete tasks delegated by supervisors and assist other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel reservation experience preferred.
  • Two-year college degree preferred.
  • Ability to create an environment of trust.
  • Competent with computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Willingness to accept and apply feedback.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to manage workload with a high degree of independence.
