Payroll Officer - Remote

Overview

As a Payroll Officer at Aspect, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and providing exceptional customer service regarding payroll inquiries.

In Short

• Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
• Manage employee payroll records including new hires and terminations.
• Calculate and process various payroll components such as salaries and bonuses.
• Administer and reconcile employee leave entitlements.
• Assist with preparation and reconciliation of payroll elements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
• Build and enhance payroll reports for decision making.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding remuneration.
• Provide user guides for employee self-service.
• Work in a hybrid environment with flexibility between office and remote work.

Requirements

• Strong data literacy and report development skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Experience in payroll duties in a complex environment.
• Strong communication skills for executive audiences.
• Aptitude for technology and information systems.
• Knowledge of Aurion payroll system is desirable.
• Mindset for positive change and process improvement.
• Willingness to travel to regional sites.
• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check clearance (NSW).
