Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues, providing remote support, and ensuring customer satisfaction while working independently.

In Short

• Diagnose software and hardware problems effectively.
• Log service calls in Salesforce.
• Provide remote phone support when not traveling.
• Escalate tier 2/3 issues to support specialists.
• Work closely with distributors on parts orders.
• Assist customers with Arrow equipment configuration.
• Train distributors and customers on Arrow equipment.
• Exceed customer satisfaction objectives.
• Work from home effectively with high-speed internet.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Technologies or applicable experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in electronic and PC technologies.
• Support knowledge of SQL, Windows Active Directory, Networking.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to read schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated to work independently.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Competency in various software applications including MSOffice.
