Overview

Arista Networks is seeking a skilled professional for our Engineering Productivity team to help maintain and support our rapidly expanding infrastructure and internal user base. The ideal candidate will be versatile and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.

In Short

• Manage production Kubernetes clusters including upgrades, monitoring, and security.
• Proactively monitor and enhance alerts and automated alert handling.
• Create and maintain incident response runbooks.
• Debug and resolve infrastructure stability issues.
• Adopt best practices in Kubernetes cluster management.
• Set up guidelines for service development teams.
• Identify and address bottlenecks in workflows and tooling.
• Engage with 3rd party vendor support for triage.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or Engineering with 3 years’ experience, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Go, Python, JavaScript, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Linux or UNIX.
• Operating software systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of storage and networking fundamentals.
• Comfortable with Ansible and GitOps.
• Expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in small teams.
• Familiarity with security principles and debugging OSS projects.
