Overview

Arista Networks is seeking a Kubernetes Administrator to enhance systems reliability and scalability for its engineering teams, working with industry-standard tools and internal systems.

In Short

• Collaborate with engineers in the Engineering Productivity group.
• Manage production Kubernetes clusters including upgrades and monitoring.
• Enhance alerts and automate alert handling.
• Create incident response runbooks.
• Debug and resolve infrastructure stability issues.
• Adopt best practices in Kubernetes management.
• Improve developer experience around Kubernetes.
• Engage with third-party vendor support.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Go, Python, Javascript, Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Linux or UNIX.
• Strong understanding of storage and networking fundamentals.
• Expertise in managing on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in small teams.
• Familiarity with security principles.
