Overview

The Business Development Representative at Apptegy plays a critical role in company growth by engaging with local school administrators to discuss branding, marketing, and communication challenges, ultimately helping to close deals for the company's core product, Thrillshare.

In Short

  • Manage daily cold drop-ins and attend conferences.
  • Conduct focus groups and lead presentations.
  • Engage with school and city leaders to identify challenges.
  • Demonstrate how Thrillshare can solve communication issues.
  • Build local partnerships to support sales efforts.
  • Travel for on average 8-12 overnight stays per month.
  • Follow up with prospects from various events.
  • Assist sales representatives with virtual product demos.
  • Contribute to the growth of Apptegy.
  • Be part of a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with K-12 school districts.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Internally motivated and results-driven.
