Apera AI is seeking an Application Engineering Manager to support the sales team by engaging with customers, conducting feasibility studies, and demonstrating the capabilities of their AI-driven robotic vision systems.

• Support the Apera Sales team through customer engagement on specific opportunities.
• Perform customer feasibility studies with actual and simulated systems.
• Identify additional applications for Apera vision-guided robotic solutions.
• Demonstrate knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
• Articulate competitive offerings in vision-guided robots.
• Provide feedback to R&D on product improvements.
• Complete studies involving design of machine fixtures and tooling.
• Develop technical materials for sales/support staff and customers.
• Manage the lifecycle of trade show demos.
• Launch strategic enablement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of five years of application solutions sales experience.
• Experience with robots, machine vision, and motion control.
• Ability to inspire and coach a diverse engineering team.
• Strong consultative solution selling skills.
• Ability to articulate technical trends and impacts.
• Self-aware and capable of making impactful decisions.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills.
• Understanding of AI and automation tools.
