• Extensive experience with Kafka Connectors, Kafka Streams, Custom Kafka Connect Transforms, and KSQL.
• Confluent Kafka – Develop and execute/manage Consumer and Producer onboarding process.
• Optimize the performance of Kafka producers, consumers, and clusters.
• Collaborate with client engineering and DevOps teams.
• Create and monitor key performance metrics.
• Manage and maintain Confluent Kafka clusters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues.
• Automate repetitive administrative tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Kafka cluster configurations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Kafka Administration.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and building high-performance applications.
• Strong understanding of Kafka architecture and internals.
• Hands-on experience in setting up and administering Kafka platforms.
• Familiarity with Kafka API.
• Deep knowledge of security best practices and performance tuning.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications in Kafka and cloud platforms is a plus.
