Residential Title Examiner - Remote

Overview

The National Operations team at Anywhere Integrated Services is currently seeking a Residential Title Examiner to join our Title Production team. This is a remote position supporting our Illinois operations as well as our Missouri operations. As a Residential Title Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of property titles for commercial real estate transactions.

In Short

• Conduct thorough searches and examine public records to assess property’s status of title.
• Review documents affecting title to property, such as mortgages and deeds.
• Read and interpret real estate documents and surveys.
• Make insurability decisions based on title insurance guidelines.
• Assemble Title Commitments for issuing Final Title Policies.
• Communicate effectively with Underwriters and Escrow Teams.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in the title insurance business.
• Missouri Title Insurance License required.
• Strong understanding of title examination processes.
• Experience in residential examinations in Missouri and Illinois.
• Proficient in title plant software and County Government websites.
• Strong research and investigation skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
