Overview

The Technical Support Specialist I is responsible for supporting the Anthology customer base with product-related issues for our Finance and HR product, built on Microsoft Dynamics Finance application. This role involves working closely with other analysts and departments to provide effective and high-quality technical support services.

In Short

  • Account ownership and customer-centric mindset for all designated customers
  • Following established guidelines and best practices to resolve customer issues
  • Providing problem resolution and collaborating for potential solutions
  • Providing training on Microsoft Dynamics Finance and HR
  • Maintaining knowledge of Anthology Finance HR applications
  • Recommending functional configurations and proposing business solutions
  • Evaluating upcoming releases for beneficial upgrades
  • Communicating updates to customers and recording actions in the help desk system
  • Building knowledge of database structure and business flows for issue resolution
  • Coaching and mentoring Customer Services team members

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of data structures and identifying patterns
  • Ability to work with moderate supervision on escalated issues
  • Experience in maintaining good customer relationships
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical issues to diverse audiences
  • Fluency in English
