Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack - Remote

• This is a remote-friendly role with the option to work from our Chicago or San Francisco offices.
• We’re looking for Senior Full Stack Engineers to continue building our customer-facing and internal products.
• Working as a full-stack engineer means working in a wide variety of contexts.
• We write a lot of Python and our front ends are largely React.
• Our engineers help work through new ideas and figure out the best way to implement them.
• We value being helpful and humble as much as technical know-how.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Experience in an early-stage, growing company is preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps tooling and practices is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a SaaS or IoT environment.
• Experience designing distributed and highly-available systems.
• Fluency with one or more object-oriented languages (Python preferred).
• Experience with relational databases and performance tuning.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in an early-stage, growing company.
