In Short

• Lead 24/7 manufacturing operations in the Upstream Cell Culture area.
• Oversee equipment, procedures, and processes for the new plant.
• Build and retain a diverse, high-performing team.
• Champion safety and quality culture within the department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Provide technical leadership for investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead regulatory inspections and compliance initiatives.
• Deliver on financial commitments while promoting lean principles.
• Contribute to sustainability efforts towards carbon neutrality by 2027.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED with 12 years of experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and coach staff effectively.
• Cross-functional experience in Process Development or Quality preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing.
• Ability to foster strong relationships across functional areas.
