Field Reimbursement Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Field Reimbursement Specialist (FRS) will manage accounts in a specified region for Patient Access and Reimbursement, ensuring an understanding of the reimbursement process and supporting products through the reimbursement journey.

• Manage defined accounts for Patient Access and Reimbursement.
• Execute collaborative territory strategic plans.
• Resolve patient-level reimbursement issues.
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with relevant partners.
• Review patient insurance benefits and financial assistance programs.
• Travel up to 60-80% for customer appointments.
• Work remotely with one to two home office days per week.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve reimbursement issues.
• Support the entire reimbursement journey from prior authorization to appeals.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2 years experience in the access arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Master’s degree with 6 years experience in the access arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years experience in the access arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Associate degree with 10 years experience in the access arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and problem-solve.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
