Student Success Facilitator - Remote

Overview

The Student Success Facilitator at the African Leadership University will play a key role in delivering the English Immersion and Enhancement Programs, supporting non-native English speakers in improving their proficiency.

In Short

• Facilitate 30 English Immersion/Enhancement sessions over 10 weeks.
• Conduct regular Office Hours for mentoring.
• Assist in building the Student Success Programs resource bank.
• Collect and analyze student data.
• Administer program deliverables on the LMS.
• Plan and execute signature events.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Act as a role model for ALU values.
• Manage and mentor Student Success Interns.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for program improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience teaching English as a Second Language.
• High level of English proficiency.
• No history of behavioral incidents.
• Strong commitment to equity and diversity.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Tech savvy and able to learn new tools quickly.
• Experience with project management.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems, especially Canvas.
