Specialist, Licensing and Compliance - Remote

Overview

As a Specialist in Licensing and Compliance, you will work directly with executive leadership to develop and organize financial strategies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in the mortgage and real estate industry.

In Short

• Supervise regulatory change monitoring and compliance-related research.
• Provide guidance on change management and compliance policies.
• Act as a subject matter expert on mortgage lending regulations.
• Improve key documents and processes for compliance.
• Coordinate monthly compliance calls and prepare necessary documentation.
• Assist with audit preparations including SSAE 18 and SOX audits.
• Maintain a database of applicable statutes and regulations.
• Plan and execute projects ensuring timely delivery of results.

Requirements

• Experience in compliance and audit, particularly in regulatory requirements.
• Background in the real estate industry with compliance processes.
• Knowledge of RESPA, FHA, GLBA, and state regulations.
• Experience in researching and implementing compliance procedures.
• Strong project management skills with analytical abilities.
• Experience in the title industry is a plus.
