Overview

The MD Claims-Field Auto Adjuster is responsible for creating or auditing estimates of damages for material damage claims, providing technical assistance, and mentoring within the auto and specialty lines.

In Short

  • Create or audit estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party claims.
  • Train and mentor team members.
  • Negotiate settlements and document activities.
  • Evaluate settlement alternatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Requires strong estimating fundamentals.
  • Preferred 4-year Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Non-supervisory role.
  • Work location is in North Carolina.

  • Deep understanding of insurance policy types.
  • Experience in claims adjustment.
  • Ability to negotiate settlements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with multiple lines of insurance.
  • Mentoring and training skills.
  • Authorization to work in the USA.
  • Preferred experience in material damage claims.
