Overview

OpenEye is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our California Region, serving as a key technical contact for customers regarding product details, system design, and project deployment.

In Short

  • Deliver sales and project-specific presentations.
  • Assess equipment needs and system requirements.
  • Develop and present training courses for customers.
  • Provide feedback to product management based on customer input.
  • Prepare cost estimates and site configurations.
  • Analyze cost-benefit ratios for customer environments.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and publications.
  • Identify strategies for market and technology changes.
  • Create technical content for marketing purposes.
  • Support installations remotely or on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of engineering or technical support experience.
  • 3 years of B2B support experience.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of IP video and security technologies.
