Overview

Aker Systems is seeking a Solution Architect to support product delivery, focusing on secure cloud-hosted solutions for public and private sectors.

In Short

• Design high-level and detailed solution architectures.
• Monitor technical deliverables and manage design divergences.
• Contribute to technical Change Requests.
• Support solution option analysis and provide architectural recommendations.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application development teams.
• Extensive experience in designing distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of agile development and CI/CD approaches.
• Experience in sensitive data environments.
• Client-facing role requiring simplification of complex designs.

Requirements

• UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance required.
• Minimum of 12 months Central Government experience preferred.
• Experience in designing cloud-native solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
