Lead DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Aker Systems is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to help lead the development and implementation of secure cloud environments for data and analytical platforms.

In Short

• Lead the development of secure cloud environments.
• Build, test, and deploy cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
• Contribute to custom test automation frameworks.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of testing environments.
• Participate in production support and incident resolution.
• Document functions and changes to modules and test activities.

• Perform ongoing application maintenance tasks.

• Participate in contingency planning and backup procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ability to write and maintain automation scripts.
• Experience in mentoring and leading teams.
• Familiarity with large-scale databases and distributed technologies.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab for source control.
