Overview

As the Head of Finance at AirGarage, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-leverage finance function that supports our rapid growth. You will work closely with the leadership team to optimize financial planning, decision-making, and execution across various departments.

In Short

• Own and improve the forward-looking financial model.
• Track and enhance unit economics and margins.
• Develop reliable budget vs. actuals and KPI dashboards.
• Lead the transition from QuickBooks to a scalable ERP system.
• Manage cap table and equity operations.
• Ensure investor and board readiness with consistent metrics.
• Renegotiate vendor contracts to improve cost efficiency.
• Support compensation and leveling frameworks.
• Oversee legal and general administrative functions.
• Maintain cash forecasts and evaluate banking relationships.

Requirements

• Experience as a first or early finance hire in a high-growth company.
• Hands-on experience in finance operations and modeling.
• Proficiency in building financial systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills for translating data into narratives.
• Experience in vendor management and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to partner with teams on compensation and workforce planning.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on action and results.
• Preferred experience in multi-location or revenue-share businesses.
