Fullstack Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

AirDNA is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve core product features, contributing to applications built using Ruby, PostgreSQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

In Short

• Contribute to development of fullstack features across the platform.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to clarify requirements.
• Participate in team ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Test work thoroughly and ensure smooth handoff to QA and deployment.
• Investigate and fix bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Contribute to internal documentation for team understanding.
• Share ideas and feedback to improve engineering practices.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience as a software engineer on web applications.
• Experience with backend services using Ruby; familiarity with Hanami is a plus.
• Comfortable writing and debugging SQL queries; experience with PostgreSQL preferred.
• Familiarity with building user-facing features using JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to break down complex problems into smaller tasks.
• Comfortable working in an Agile team.
