Staff Data Engineer: Host Pricing & Settings - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join the Host Pricing & Settings ML Infra team. As a Staff Data Engineer, you will work closely with our Product, Data Science and ML engineering teams to build strategies, programs, and tools to improve the quality, efficiency, and speed of the Host Pricing team’s ML training data and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience with a BS/Masters or 6+ years with a PhD.
• Expertise in SQL and at least one data engineering language (Python or Scala).
• Experience with Superset and Tableau.
• Expertise in large-scale data processing frameworks (Presto or Spark).
• Experience with ETL frameworks like Airflow.
• Knowledge of data management concepts and data governance.
• Understanding of data security and privacy principles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to forge partnerships across teams.
