Employee Experience Technical Writer - Remote

Overview

The Employee Experience (EX) Technical Writer will partner with Knowledge Managers, technology and tool owners to understand current processes and tooling and where these can be improved. Lead documentation strategy and execution across Digital Employee Experience (DEX) initiatives, focusing on creating clear, user-centric content that enables effective adoption of new tools and processes.

In Short

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to research, outline, write, and edit engaging new content for DEX initiatives.
• Review existing content and brainstorm creative ways to enhance and improve it.
• Develop content in diverse media formats to ensure maximum usability.
• Design and sustain templates that align with organizational standards.
• Partner with knowledge managers to identify the best documentation repositories.
• Design and implement documentation frameworks for goal-setting and project execution.
• Create templates and style guides for consistent documentation.
• Write technical documentation for platform integrations and workflows.
• Develop user guides and training materials for new planning tools.
• Support documentation needs for knowledge base restructuring.

Requirements

• 7 years of technical writing experience, preferably in an HR environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience with HR tools required (e.g. Workday, Greenhouse).
• Experience using visualization tools (e.g. Miro).
• Experience with content management systems such as Confluence.
• Experience building resources with diverse media formats.
• Work effectively with cross-functional partners.
• Work independently and use sound judgment to make decisions.
