Trustly is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Technical Writer for Developer Documentation to create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for software products, aimed at developers and technical users.

In Short

• Write and maintain documentation for software development tools, APIs, SDKs, and libraries.
• Manage API reference documentation and collaborate with engineers.
• Utilize AI-powered writing tools for content generation and clarity.
• Work with product managers on technical guides aligned with product roadmaps.
• Establish a unified API documentation style with engineers.
• Deliver targeted release notes for various stakeholders.
• Gather feedback to refine documentation for clarity and usability.
• Champion best practices in Developer Experience.
• Assess performance of developer documentation experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, or equivalent experience, plus 5+ years of technical writing experience.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile processes.
• Solid grasp of RESTful API design principles and experience documenting APIs.
• Proficiency in documentation tools like Confluence, GitHub, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Experience using AI to improve documentation workflows.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Adept at working independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Prior exposure to cloud-based services and FinTech/online payments industry knowledge is desirable.
