Overview

The IT Helpdesk Support Specialist III is responsible for overseeing and supporting client hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring seamless system performance and delivering prompt technical support.

In Short

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices across various platforms.
  • Manage mobile device solutions and ensure secure integration.
  • Support and troubleshoot video teleconferencing technologies.
  • Manage incidents and requests using ServiceNow.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols.
  • Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate on IT projects and system upgrades.
  • Analyze and report IT problems and customer demand signals.
  • Provide onsite and some remote support.

Requirements

  • Active Security+ Certification.
  • 3 to 5+ years of service desk support experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree may substitute experience.
  • Proficiency in managing Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.
  • Experience with Active Directory, HBSS, and SCCM.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Commitment to high standards of client support.
  • Experience in a DoD IT environment preferred.
  • ServiceNow experience is a plus.
  • Other IT certifications are a plus.
