The Storage & Replication team is responsible for the infrastructure and services that power Affirm’s most critical data pipelines by providing access to replicated data from across the organization through our Apache Iceberg-powered Data Lake and Snowflake-powered Cloud Data Warehouse.

In Short

Design and develop improvements to Data Lake infrastructure.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Ability to synthesize complex requirements into high-quality designs.
Excellent communication skills for technical concepts.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
