Accounts Payable Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payable Manager provides financial support and management for the accounts payable team and will work closely with other company personnel, vendors, and customers. This position reports to the Vice President of Finance.

In Short

• Lead, mentor, and develop AP Clerks
• Manage the AP inbox and ensure timely responses
• Implement AP automation tools
• Oversee all payment runs
• Ensure coding accuracy across GL accounts
• Serve as primary contact for vendor issues
• Manage vendor onboarding and compliance
• Support external audit processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor KPIs for efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• At least four years’ experience in accounts payable
• Experience in general ledger accounting
• Management experience preferred
• Experience with NetSuite
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Understanding of US GAAP
