Overview

The Meteorologist II position involves producing weather forecasts and reports for various clients, providing customer support, and ensuring data quality while working in a dynamic environment.

In Short

• Produce forecast products for government and professional service clients.

Requirements

• B.S. in Meteorology or equivalent in atmospheric sciences.
• 1-7+ years of operational forecast experience.
• Experience in a shift/team environment.
• Knowledge of NWS data, products, and tools.
• Proficient in numerical prediction models for forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Teams).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
