Manager, EHR (Epic) Operational Reporting - Remote

Overview

This manager-level role will lead the activities of a team of experienced analysts and administrators who manage the operations of Advocate’s enterprise operational reporting delivery teams.

In Short

• Lead a team of analysts and administrators in operational reporting.
• Coordinate enterprise analytics needs and product management.
• Maintain the Epic Cogito toolset and support third-party analytics tools.
• Implement and maintain enterprise-wide standards and security policies.
• Guide and train clinical and technical staff.
• Manage changes/enhancements to data and analytics tools.
• Develop and operationalize an EHR data strategy.
• Ensure adherence to data governance processes.
• Perform human resources responsibilities for staff.
• Develop and recommend operating and capital budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or Health related field.
• 5 years of experience in clinical data management or Clinical IS.
• Relevant Epic Certification or Accreditation.
• Excellent presentation and writing skills.
• Experience with clinical and administrative workflows.
• Proven project management skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Quality and Performance Improvement principles.
• Significant expertise in EHR reporting and business intelligence.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships.
