Overview

The Coder II for Specialty Cardiology is responsible for coding diagnoses and procedures in accordance with established guidelines while maintaining compliance and confidentiality of patient records.

Requirements

• Professional coder certification (CPC, CCA, CCS-P, RHIA, RHIT, or SCP).
• Advanced training in Medical Coding Specialist.
• 2 years of coding experience.
• Knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
