Requirements

  • Coding Certification (AAPC or AHIMA).
  • Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or related field.
  • 7 years of inpatient coding experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic coding systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
