Inpatient Coder - Remote

Overview

The Inpatient Coder is responsible for coding inpatient records with the appropriate ICD-10-CM diagnosis and ICD-10-PCS procedure codes while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.

Requirements

• Active RHIA/RHIT/CCS credential in good standing.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• 5 years of hospital-based coding experience.
• Experience with Cerner Powerchart preferred.
• Experience with EPIC is a plus.
• Ability to navigate coding in a multi-facility health system.
