ProFee Denials Specialist - Remote

Overview

The ProFee Denials Specialist is responsible for reviewing rejection/denials and coding physician records to ensure compliance with coding guidelines and client requirements.

In Short

• Analyze and review client medical records for accuracy in code assignment.
• Identify and remediate denials received by clients.
• Code professional fee charts as needed.
• Prepare daily logs of activities.
• Maintain a coding accuracy of 95% or higher.
• Adhere to ethical coding standards and regulations.
• Meet productivity standards based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active CPC/COC/CCS or CCS-P certification.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• 5 years of experience in physician/ProFee or payer Rejection/Denials Remediation.
• Knowledge of E/M code assignment.
• Experience with Cerner Powerchart and EHR/Billing systems.
• Surgical coding background is a plus.
