Overview

The Professional Fee AR Specialist is responsible for evaluating the financial responsibility of patients and managing accounts receivable to ensure timely billing and collection processes.

• Evaluate financial responsibility of patients and update accounts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Three years of professional fee billing experience required.
• Knowledge of medical coding (CPT & ICD-9/10) preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and data interpretation abilities.
• Proficiency in PC applications such as spreadsheets and word processing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet quality performance standards.
