Field Specialist Intern (Summer 2026) - Remote

Overview

Advanced Agrilytics is seeking summer interns in the agronomy field to assist with summer on-farm scouting in the corn belt for the summer of 2026. Interns will engage in a variety of activities, depending on their area of primary interest. All interns will gain experience in general agronomy, plant pathology, entomology, weed science, leadership, data collection and evaluation, and grower relationship management.

In Short

• Remote internship with placement in Illinois and Indiana.
• Provide agronomic observations on grower acres.
• Assist in providing scouting reports for grower customers.
• Participate in soil sample collection efforts.
• Assist in implementation of various research efforts.
• Work effectively in a team and independently.
• Communicate effectively with growers and agronomists.
• Agriculture or Science degree track preferred.
• Must be task/project driven and able to work independently.
• Exhibit a growth mindset and desire for continuous learning.

• Willingness to work under on-farm and in-field conditions.
• Understanding of current farming practices is beneficial.
