Part-Time Advising and Retention Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Advising and Retention Specialist role is responsible for promoting student success and providing comprehensive student support through accurate and responsive advisement in the areas of academic advising, registration, financial aid, and healthcare compliance/practicum.

• Assist students with course registration and program requirements.
• Advocate for students' academic and financial needs.
• Provide coordinated support with the Student Support Liaison.

• Respond to inquiries regarding healthcare compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required.
• 2+ years in customer service or academic advising preferred.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with Student Information Systems a plus.
• Must be eligible to access NSLDS system.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
