Overview

Walden University is seeking a Core Faculty member for the MSN PMHNP program to educate and support students in their academic journey while promoting social change.

In Short

• Teach and interact with students in the university’s online learning management system.
• Ensure timely feedback and communication with students.
• Maintain availability for student support outside of classroom discussions.
• Participate in residencies and academic committees as needed.
• Verify the accuracy of student submissions and provide grades.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate (DNP/PhD) in a relevant field.
• Experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Three or more years of teaching experience at the degree level.
• Strong record of professional contributions to the field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with distance learning preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Reliable Internet access required.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
