Overview

Contributing faculty members serve in a part-time capacity to educate Walden University Students by effectively and proficiently using online technology and resources so that knowledge, information, feedback, and critique are imparted to and shared with students in thoughtful, carefully formulated, well written, and timely communications.

Requirements

• DNP or PhD in Nursing or related field required.
• 1+ years of teaching experience preferred.
• 1+ years of online instruction experience required.
• Current practice experience as a PMHNP required.
• RN and APRN License in one of the 50 states required.
• Must be willing to acquire a Minnesota RN and APRN license.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic learning platforms.
• Commitment to advocating for student needs in a distance learning environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• Must maintain currency with research in the field.
