In Short

• Responsible for scheduling appointments for customers to pick up PAP equipment.
• Explain customers' financial responsibilities and ensure payment.
• Guide patients through AdaptHealth using a patient-centered approach.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products and insurance guidelines.
• Handle both inbound and outbound calls.
• Verify insurance and explain coverage details to customers.
• Collect patient financial responsibility prior to processing orders.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems over the phone.
• Document accounts and delivery expectations.
• Support departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• One year of experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services.
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME environment is preferred.
