Product Marketing Manager - Remote

Overview

To help drive ActiveState’s next stage of growth of our SaaS platform, we are seeking a passionate Product Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product development and market success, ensuring our solutions resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will own the go-to-market strategy, develop compelling product positioning, and drive adoption through targeted campaigns and content.

• Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates.
• Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging.
• Shape and communicate the company’s point of view on key industry topics.
• Create high-impact marketing materials to support sales and demand.
• Conduct market analysis for product strategy and positioning.
• Provide sales teams with necessary tools and training.
• Collaborate with the OSPO and open-source community.
• Monitor and report on marketing campaign effectiveness.
• Develop marketing funnel strategies for user conversion.
• Partner with product management and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in SaaS or open-source.
• Understanding of SecOps and DevSecOps challenges.
• Proven track record of launching and marketing technical products.
• Strong understanding of open-source business models and SaaS ecosystems.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Proficiency in marketing tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics.
• Experience in marketing funnels and campaign management.
• Familiarity with developer tools or cloud technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
